I reopened some trauma before leaving for the weekend. My fault… I did it. So I was sad and stressed, though eager to get away. It’s incredible what our faces show when we allow ourselves to let go. I’m happy. I still have PTSD, but I’m coping, and I’m trying to get to that place of peace. It’s really important to me to continue to be able to love from afar and a different level in peace. I can see some of that shining through in this photo. I love my life today. I love myself today. This woman works hard. She loves hard. She is flawed and imperfect. She is still hurt and angry and doesn’t understand so many things. But she sees the beauty in the pain because without the pain, she wouldn’t have ever been sitting at that table. I am exactly where I need to be. But that doesn’t mean it hasn’t sucked getting here.
