I have had a couple of people ask me recently about Tiny and what’s wrong with him, so thank you for your questions respectthesqwan ellaintrigue and empires-of-eternal-void

Tiny the Special Frog

Tiny is the same age as his brothers, but when I got them all, at 3 months old, Tiny was the smallest by far, and he hadn’t had enough calcium in his diet so his bones were floppy. This made his jaw floppy, it was so bendy you could bend it with a bit a of paper :( So on the advice of the vet Tiny and all his brothers were given calcium with every meal to get strong bones. Tiny now has a strong jaw, but because it was so floppy when he was little it will never look like a normal frog. Tiny was very Tiny when he came:

And he had some trouble eating, so for the first few months I fed him every day through a straw with mashed up crickets, calcium powder and multivitamin powder. He is now fully grown, he won’t grow any more, here he is next to Voigt

He has some problems that he will have for the rest of his life but that just makes him special! He can’t swim. He mainly just floats until he hits something. When he was little he couldn’t get up if he fell on his back, he didn’t understand, I rescued him many many many times.

Tiny is also not as strong as the other frogs, and his coordination in the cricket-catching department is somewhat lacking, but he does try. He doesn’t always eat as much as he should, so I still help him out with that.

He is a happy little frog, he loves to sit on his brothers and chase after imaginary crickets. He croaks looking for a girl, but it is a little croak from a little frog, and he doesn’t really understand about croaking at nighttime, he likes to croak at midday.

He is Tiny my Special Frog and I love him to bits!
