You speak with the sun, And play cards with the moon, That world you hold on to, Will fade oh-so soon.

It’s resting atop you, The weight of your world, Your shoulders are aching, Your fingers are curled.

You can’t feel your limbs, You’re lost in your mind, You’re aching for somewhere, To leave this behind.

It’s rather untrue, This human suggestion, That heaven is purely, Religious deflection.

Solitary land, You’re near, yet so far You’re not quite a planet, But not quite a star.
