“Clearly you don’t know your brother.” Buffy replied tersely, keeping a wary eye. Even if she didn’t have anything better to do than meddle in sibling rivalry, chances are the hybrid was already one step ahead, “This is Klaus we’re talking about.” She remained poised and prepared for any action Kol might take, “How much tipping off does the guy really need?”

The question was startling, and for a moment she seemed unsure of how to respond, but it was the briefest of stumbles and a light of awareness began to dawn in her eyes, “Huh.” A clearly smug Buffy straightens, hands gripping at her waist, unsympathetic, “So that’s what this is about.”

“I’ve known him a minute longer than you have, Love.” Kol replied in protest. He watched her cautiously for that girl was the most famous vampire slayer of them all and he wanted to be a jump ahead in case their polite chat became physical. He was getting tired of her having a tone with him, though. Over how great and smart Klaus is. If he didn’t think he would end up on the ground for it he would happily point out that he had lied to his brother thousands of times and was almost never found out. So put that in your pipe and smoke it.

“You know Klaus. When he sees fit that our punishment is over. He’ll take the dagger out.” Niklaus was always kinder with Rebekah. She was the youngest sister, and their hybrid brother held a soft spot for her in his heart. All her brothers did. They were protective of each other when worse came to worse. If anything harmed her they turned deadly in her honor. “Tell him you’re not Katerina, and to shove those daggers up his whiney arse.” She looked at her brother. Putting Davina above himself has made him more fearful. “The brother I know would.” She smirked slyly his way. 

                  “Damn, you’re just not wastin’ any time.” only, it’s a bit odd that it’s coming from him. Even though they’d just as soon step on each other’s faces as look at one another, the Mikaelson who always seem to need something from Faith? Is Klaus. Holding Elijah over her, like an asshole. Playing on her loyalty to the only vampire she trusts who’s hair doesn’t stick straight up. Kol’s never needed the services she can provide (made obviouis by the fact that, until tonight, he didn’t care if she lived or died), so she has to assume that whatever he’s facing is a physical threat —- vaguely wonders where Davina is in all this. She pushes her hands into her pockets as they walk, “I’m listening.”
