02. behavioral interventions for home
one of the most useful things i am starting to implement are behavioral interventions. unfortunately, the list that came with my workbook(s) are pretty uninspiring. i have been developing my own lists of interventions. this particular list is for interventions within my home, so a list while having access to my hobby tools, kitchen, etc. i will continually add on to this list.
1. cook a new recipe 2. chat online (behavioral subreddits, crisis line, other groups) 3. find unused items to sell/donate, then purchase one new thing as a reward 4. learn and record a song 5. write a letter and mail it 6. redecorate/rearrange a room 7. take a long self care shower (shampoo/condition/shave/moisturize) 8. take the dog on a walk 9. experiment with art - create a multimedia 10. do makeup and take portraits, then post one 11. create a mood media with photoshop 12. read about a specific topic of interest that has gone unattended 13. plan an easy day trip for myself 14. surprise someone with a homemade craft 15. text a friend or family member just to say hello 16. start an interesting diy project
