The main character is a god with amnesia. He loses his memories of his omnipotence and is left in the human world, lost, with strange abilities. Explain what his daily life is like.
He wrote things down sometimes. It wasn’t the normal, everyday things though. Not how he got his first job at the cafe down the street with the cute owner who always seemed to be sweeping at the floors whistling a happy tune. Not how he found a small stray cat lurking around the dumpster, trying to find something to eat in the alleyway nearby his apartment. Not how he accidentally locked his keys inside the car when it was still running.
But it was more the... strange things, perhaps. Something lucky, something serendipitous even. There was an entry in the journal he owned about how the cafe owner fell down from trying to sweep the dust on the ceiling fan— how she yelled out in agony, worrying him to pieces until he looked her over and realized nothing was broken at all. Not even a scratch.
Or how the stray cat he found started to follow him around everywhere. Maybe not right behind him, no, but he always saw her licking her paw at a corner he turned onto. Always saw her digging around at some trash and litter no matter how far he was from his place.
There was even a page on how he was able to open his car and grab his keys, even when he swears up and down that it was locked when he tried it a moment just before. That he was frustrated and was having a bad day and when he tried it for the last time before calling someone to help, it somehow opened.
There were more instances to call it just coincidence or luck. But who was he kidding himself? He was just a small town, average twenty-something year old Filipino guy. There was no way that he was someone else, something else, right?

now what is the gay agenda?
well,
it’s holding hands while it’s cold to warm each other up
kissing each other when they haven’t seen each other in a long time
dates to the movie theater to watch horror movies that make one become scared and hide in the other’s shoulder
and dates to fancy restaurants with expensive wine on their dry tongues after being rendered speechless by how beautiful the other looks
it’s cuddling on the couch and falling asleep at two in the morning because of jokes and deep talks mixed into one conversation
it’s late night calls that last until the morning because distances are hell and even just hearing the other do nothing except breathe makes them happy
it’s pushing them against a wall and making them come undone with your hands and them cursing out of breath when they do
It’s nervous first kisses, first dates, first “I love you”s
It’s fights and make ups, tears of sorrow and tears of joy, anger and happiness, yin and yang, good and the bad
it’s everything in between too
it’s the life of a person
who is able to live without shame, without restraint, without boundaries
it’s love
utter romantic love

I was fourteen when i first felt it, this rush, as if i was flying- as if gravity suddenly lost its hold on me running felt like the way out to all of life's expectations and i was hooked- line, bait, and sinker so i joined the cross country team to try and get that feeling of speed- that feeling of legs moving fast, arms swinging at the same pace it was in winter track when i felt it again a competitor wearing a black uniform, a unusually measured track, an 800 meter race- what it took to feel a dry throat but a lightness that's almost impossible to describe there were races when my legs were two weights I could barely lift up from the track and there were races when they were feathers spread out to fly loses were met with determination to do better and personal records were met with happiness that the hard work paid off in the end people ask me why I run, why I voluntarily want to get sweaty and tired and work out when I don't have to sometimes I tell them it's because I want to stay in shape sometimes I tell them it's because I like to have something to do other than school and homework and grades but the real answer is that I love it I love pushing myself to get to the finish line, to shave off seconds, to get that feeling of being fast that's why I tie my shoes up every practice, every meet for the thrill of it all - shoelaces & personal records//r.v

The fact of the matter is, when will you break? When will the pain you thought you could limp by with turns into a pain that you can barely withstand? When tears start to fall more regularly than they used to, when there's this falling feeling that hasn't been there before but now is a constant? When will you say no more and retreat into the corner, retreat into the places where you think no one could bother you? When will you think that there's no point in taking care of yourself because is there a point? When will you think that your bed is the only oasis in a desert of the life you've traveled around many times before but you're just starting to feel the unbearable heat? When will it become too much? When will it be Atlas' punishment with the weight of the world? When will you fall? When will I? Is it now?

Girls kiss in locker rooms with lights flickering on and off; one eye open to look out for anyone coming in Guys kiss under the bleachers with moonlight barely illuminating the scene; breaking apart every minute to look around She lets her hands travel through long hair tangled and damp from practice He lets his hands travel down to his waist and pull him closer Shouts from the rest of her team make her push her away and pretend she was getting something from her locker all along A call from his parents make him push him away and lie about where he's been, who he's with She's scared He's terrified if only she wasn't in love with a girl if only he wasn't in love with a guy if only they didn't have to hide their hearts beating for someone they shouldn't be with if only love was love, nothing else (because right now, it doesn't feel like it) - secret kisses, secret lovers//r.v
The way she wears her hair in a messy bun and takes it out so it looks like chaos in its best form, the way she's so talented at swimming and running that she could leave me in the dust, the way she supports me at everything I do even if I think I can't do it, how she misses me even though we saw each other a second ago, how she is the person I talk to first thing in the morning and last thing before I fall asleep, how she is the one I can tell belly-laughing jokes and deep secrets to in one night, the photos she sends me where she just smiles and I'm taken aback by how beautiful she looks when she's happy, the sweatshirts she lets me borrow after she leaves her scent imprinted in them, the little pecks on the cheek to passionate kisses and everything in between that she gives me, how she tell me she loves me, tells me for always, tells me that I'm her future--just....everything

I want a place for myself
A place where expectations from my parents aren't hanging over my head like a glass ceiling waiting to be broken, a place where I can come and go freely as I please instead of being trapped-feeling trapped like a bird in a cage, a place where I can love and love my best friend who became my girlfriend without fear or persecution, a place where I can make my mark and not worry what anyone else says about it, a place where I can call home

to love someone so fully and truly that even sad days aren't completely sad days when I know she's there and happy days are happier when she grins along with me
