I love Spencer for his genius autism but when I really can’t do my assignments I do understand why some autistic people dislike him as rep because of his iq. I do think that media subconsciously chooses to only represent autistic people if they have an overwhelming positive that can be used to look over the autism. I suppose my point is, I wonder if Spencer did struggle with school at all. I mean we know he got moved up multiple grades but incredible intelligence does not equal good performance in a public school. Maybe because of his age he got more help than other people to help him adapt to stuff. His ability to overcome autistic inertia and executive dysfunction baffles me (mostly because he doesn’t. It’s not a part of autism that gets talked about much because it’s hard for neurotypical people to understand) I’m very jealous

regularly scheduled reminder that I hate AI, I don't consent to any of my art being used for AI whether that's for chatbots or generative AI, I've never used ChatGPT or Claude or Gemini or Grok or whatever the fuck in my life and never will and I do think that makes me a better person than people who do. also if you're a "fan" of mine and willingly use AI, I think you're actively making the choice to hand over all brain function to companies owned by billionaires who hate you and humanity, which makes you pathetic and embarrassing.

a character who truly, legitimately goes “but why does that matter?” about their feelings when someone who cares about them asks. and the sudden falling of everyone around them’s faces as they realize that this person doesn’t recognize themself as someone who needs or should be taken care of. i want Everyone to hurt. surprise at the idea, worry for them, horror at not having noticed. do you see this person who doesn’t think of themselves as a person?
