Sweet day // Jonghyun & Woohyun
Faces werenât soon forgotten. Yes they faded with time and the names were faster gone than he imagined. Yet the male turned around and everything snapped into place. The times they jammed together, the festivals and school projects. The occasional meet ups with all the people. Â Although Jonghyun hadnât finished his college the three years he was there were wonderful. Now that he remembered Woohyun was one thing. That the guy actually remembered him too, it made him smile just a little. âYeah, I was from the composing major.â He putted his hands into his pockets. Feeling slightly nostalgic to look at an old familiar face. âIt has been quite some time he. I got to say you didnât change that much.â Which was the truth. His memory might not be the most sharp from what it had been but enough to know that this guy didnât made any major change. His face and build already full-grown when he was in college. Only time could carve some wrinkles in his face. But that wouldnât be there for many more years or so he hoped for Woohyun.
The little girl with him stared at his face. He could feel her big eyes keeping an eye on him. Obviously, he was a strange face. Never seen before and it would give a child either curiosity, fear or both. In this case she just looked a bit tired. The way her head hung a bit and her eyelids drooped. It was cute. She tried to look at him, slightly cautious. Her nose and eyebrows, they were similar to Woohyunâs. Chuckling he leaned back a bit. Giving the two a bit more space. He didnât want to scare off the little one. âHello JiSun, Iâm Jonghyun. An old friend of this guy.â He signed with his head to her relative. He guessed they were relatives. âSheâs your cousin or something?âÂ
Woohyun smiled. "It's been too long, I haven't really had time to go to any of the meet ups since leaving college." Woohyun laughed a little, "I'm a music teacher, not exactly the rockstar life," he smiled. Although people thought he had wanted to be a singer, it was a lie. He wanted to be a singer until his daughter was born. He wasn't ready at 18 to come out as a teen dad. He'd never really felt the need to tell his classmates about the special lady in his life. His parent's had been complete lifesavers when he was in college, doing whatever childcare they needed, knowing he was studying to give his daughter a better quality of life.Â
Woohyun laughed "Thank you, but you're the one who looks the same, still as young as when we last met." Woohyun faked being upset, Jonghyun looked pretty much identical to how he remembered him but he could tell the boy was older than before. Woohyun smiled at the pair when Jonghyun introduced himself. Jisun bowed and mumbled that her name was Jisun before clinging to Woohyun. "Daddy" she complained. Woohyun rolled his eyes and then hugged her close to him, rubbing her back.Â
"She's my daughter." Woohyun smiled. "I'm sorry, she's tired, so she's acting up." Woohyun rubbedh is daughter's back again as she rested against him, looking back at Jonghyun. Woohyun bit his lip, knowing that Jonghyun would be able to work out Jisun's approximate age, and then work out that Woohyun had a kid while in high school.Â
