I think love is learning how to turn that gentleness inwards, because you deserve to be met like that too. I think love is asking someone if they’ve eaten today. Thinking of/practicing love more as an action and not just a feeling. I think love are the hands that carry me through this life, even if those hands are shaky. Love is making myself a cup of tea - because for a brief moment it seems to ease everything. I think love is being in and of community - not as an escape from loneliness but as a way of nourishing and showing up in meaningful ways for/with each other. I think love is disrupting the status quo. I think love is saying goodbye. I think love is allowing ourselves to grieve the loss of what used to be. I think love is turning toward and not away. Love is to repair, regenerate and reckon with.
