I'm just going to rant about something that's been bugging me lately.

Salem's art has just been getting worse and worse, all his lasts wips and doodles seem so poorly done and rushed compared to the ones he uploadrd just some months ago. I don't like the term, but I genuinly think his "art regression" from his puppychan era is coming back. Like a year or two ago I used to follow him for his art (before I knew all the horrible stuff he has done and that he was puppychan), and it was actually pretty decent, but now it just looks like quick doodles he just pumps out for the sake of posting, with zero effort or passion put into it. Maybe it has to do with his mental state getting worse lately, or him getting desparate for money but idk.

Literally my biggest fear as an artist

The old vs new Easter art quality is a massive downgrade

The old art look generally better. The dialogue was good, there was detail on the egg, and the dreads actually had textured and were detailed

The newer art lost all that. The stripes on the egg are kinda half assed, the chibi proportions are off, and the dialogue is bad

For the Eris art, literally all of the texture/shading in his hair is gone. Most of the lighting on his legs are gone too. The shines he would put on his art to show texture on clothing isn't there and now it just feels flat and bland

Pumping out new art basically every day takes a toll, and you won't be able to really take your time and actually draw things with good quality. That's why there are so many errors with his art, he never takes the time actually use references or check if something looks good. And since he built an echo chamber with his fans, they will not ever say anything bad, so to Salem, his art doesn't need "fixing."

To achieve your goals of figuring yourself out is to go through bullshit that you probably deserved because your past life was probably a complete bum, I guess. The hell did I do to deserve to be split.
