Feeling very jealous of livestock guardian dogs lately. I follow somebody on Instagram that has a few on their farm, and the idea of spending your days outside, laying in the shade of trees, chasing off intruders with a thunderous snarl and bark, sleeping in the barn with the animals you've dedicated your life to protecting, getting the highest quality raw food diet from your owners. No loud city, no insane light pollution, no scuffing your paws on the cement sidewalk and getting your nose full of car fumes. Makes me a little emotional, thinking about it.
