hey guys, i've received a fair bit of help over the last few days. i currently have a couple of months of rent saved and luckily that's most of my current bills i have to worry about.
however, i'd really like to be able to start doing some things on the side to hopefully bring in cash or even be able to work/support myself fully from home.
as it stands, i don't have a working computer. i have a desktop so old it is incompatible with any updates from the last few years and runs so slowly i can't even use it reliably for something like writing in google docs. a lot of the creative projects i want to take on, like designing things, streaming/video editing, and music making are currently completely impossible.
i'm looking to get a decent refurbished/used laptop that can at least handle things like photo/video editing and DAWs. this is looking like it will run me about $300-500. anything extra recieved will be used on food, rent, or things i need to stay alive as a disabled person like pain meds, compression garments, supportive devices, or any surprise medical costs.
