Summary: You wanted to give HR a special Valentine’s Day.

“Ho, ho, what’s this?” HR spins around as he takes in his surroundings. The speed lab was all done up with decorations, a table set in the middle of it with lit candles stands all around. Music softly plays in the back round. Bouquet of flowers scattered all over the place. A giant teddy bear holding a heart saying ‘bear mine valentines’ sits in one of the seats. Three balloons with ‘I love you’, ‘Happy valentines!’, and and a red heart shape tied to the back of the chair. When his eyes landed on you, he had the biggest smile on his face. “And what’s-” he waffles his hands, taking in the smell, “A heavenly meal do I smell?”
“Well, you had a great big celebration for ‘Friend’s day’, I figure I would repay you by doing a celebration for Valentine’s Day!” You raise your one arm up in excitement while you hold the other one behind your back.
HR stops in front of you, placing a hand over his heart as he softly smiles down at you, “This is so sweet, (Y/N/N). Thank you.” He bows slightly at you.
When he stood up straight, you brought your one arm forward, holding a box of candy. “Happy Valentine’s Day.”
“Chocolates? For me?” His face beaming with joy as he takes the gift from you, admiring the box.
“Yeah, there is this cute little candy store in Crystal City that specializes in coffee infused chocolate! And I figure the world’s greatest coffee addict should have the pleasure of experiencing that!”
“(Y/N/N), you shouldn’t have.” You could see tears slowly forming in his eyes. You place your hand on either side of his face, giving him a kiss on his lips, “I love you, HR.”
“I love you too, (Y/N).” He leans into your hand a bit.
You took his hand into yours, “So, HR Wells,” You held his hand close to you, “Will you be my valentines?”
“Yes, (Y/N), I will be your valentines.” He kiss your forehead before wrapping his one arm around his shoulder, “So, what delicious meal have you cooked up for us?”
You wrap an around around his waist, “Well, nothing fancy. Just chicken vegetables, side dishes and we will finish with some coffee cake!”
“Coffee cake? What’s that? Does it have coffee in it?” You knew he would get excited over anything that had coffee in it.
Smiling up to your coffee addict boyfriend, “Oh, honey, you are going to love it!”
