Column: By the way, it’s a play on the words ‘MEAT’ and ‘MEET’, and means ‘a day to go and meet meat’.

The word for 2 in Japanese is ‘ni’ (二) and the word for 9 is ‘ku’ (九) so together as 2/9 they make ‘niku’, the word for meat (肉). The sentence about going to meet meat is more wordplay in both Japanese and English, as it is written as “niku ni ai ni iku hi”, with ni iku (に行く), ‘to go’, being similar to niku as well.

The other answers are puns too. 11/29 is 1 1 2 9, i i ni ku, ‘good meat’ (いい肉) and 3/10 is mii to, ‘meat’ in English (ミート).

As of today the last of the Timeskip zine preorders have been sent out so my etsy shop HummingflyStore will be reopening with extra zines as well as additional goodies a week from today on Saturday 6/12! :D

Also a while back I ran some photo prints of various art pieces I’ve made over the years to see how I liked em which means I have a bit of extras left over - because of this the first 20 orders will come with a FREE random 4x6 photographic art print! There will also be an option to purchase 3 random art prints in the store~ :V

Finally, since I never got a chance to do a proper 11k follower giveaway lets go ahead and do that now!

This zine was 3 years in the making and contains over 50 pages of every team greed doodle comic that I’ve posted online, as well as 5 pages of new and exclusive bonus content!

Preorders will be open for 2 weeks until April 11th, and as an extra incentive preordered zines are 10% off with the code PREORDER!
