nah jk, you dont have to apologize for snape, a man who belittled children. a man who hated harry and his father, a man who only helped defeat Voldemort because he was still in love with a woman, who he called a mudblood, told him no.
but alright. apologize for snape. instead of, ya know, tonks and lupin who werenât even given a good death scene, were truly kind people to harry, and truly believed in the cause they were fighting for.Â
Do you blame Snape for hating James?? Itâs not like James ever apologized to Snape. And whatâs wrong with Snape loving Lily? Her memory motivated him to keep fighting in the war, which wouldnât have been won without him.
J.K. Rowling apologized for killing Remus last year and I bet next year sheâll do Tonks.
Snape hating James and James hating Snape is completely reasonable, and im sorry if that came across weird in my post! But for me personally, Snape continuing to love Lily after she told him no and him calling her a mudblood is a little weird for me. Yes Snape was vital to the war effort, but he never truly believed in the cause, and only did it because he âlovedâ Lily. I get frustrated with JK sometimes because of certain characters, and of course, if you have a different opinion then me thats completely fine! Just thought Iâd clarify :)
I donât quite understand what youâre referring to when you say âafter she told him noâ. After Snape called Lily a mudblood, he sincerely apologized. Lily told him she didnât want anything to do with him anymore and Snape respected her wishes. Snape never tried to pursue a romantic relationship with Lily, he never even told her that he loved her. Although Lily didnât love Snape back, he couldnât just turn off his feelings for her like a switch.
I respect that you have a different opinion. The only reason I replied was because you used the general Snape tags instead of the anti ones which frustrated me.
Ah, I see. Thatâs my mistake then, for using the wrong tags. Iâll use the right ones from here on out, my apologies!
