Featherwhisker glanced back their way and he gave a simple shrug. He wasnât too sure himself if everything would be alright, but he had no doubt that Bluefur would need all the support she could possibly get with something like this. At the end of the day, it wasnât a fun experience for her and he felt terrible for having brought it up to begin with.
But, with what he had seen? It seems likely that Crookedstar could have had his body taken over.
âŞâI hope that Iâm wrong about Crookedstar, I truly do,â⏠he said to her softly, âŞâBut I donât know how else you would describe the actions that heâs been doing lately. It just doesnât add up and is something that doesnât make a lot of sense for a leader.ââŹ
Now, with this said, Featherwhisker had only seen Crookedstar one time in the days and weeks after the last Gathering. It wouldnât be for a bit longer that the next Gathering would take place, but StarClan was very adamant and even more persistent about sending him visions and trying to warn him of something that would happening in the near future. He really wanted it all to be wrong, but heâd find out soon enough if he was correct or not.
âŞâI donât know what we can do at the moment, maybe besides just keep an eye on RiverClan and make sure everything is alright. I donât want them to be caught unaware by something they canât control. Even if that means having patrols potentially venture further into their territory,â⏠Featherwhisker said again, âŞâBut Iâll leave that up for you two to decide.ââŹ

The impostor had actually been lying outside âhisâ den and watching the damp move around him. He hadnât planned on doing much, since he had been out near ThunderClan this morning, but he still tried to be around, at least a little bit.
He raised his head as he heard someone approach and he nodded respectfully to Mistyfoot as she walked over to him and he gave a small yawn.
âŞâI was just out getting some alone time, down by the river,â⏠he explained to her, âŞâDidnât feel like being caught in camp all day, so I wanted to go and do something else for a while. Just ended up down there, having not really followed a path.ââŹ
He sighed as he looked around the camp at the different warriors going about their duties and he chuckled lightly,
âŞâDo you wonder what could happen if we changed a bit what we focus on?â⏠he asked her softly, âŞâIf we focused some more effort on trying to take back Sunning Rocks or showing the other clans that we can fight? Because it always seems that weâve never been the greatest at showing that. Most of the clans probably donât think of us as a threat now, at all.ââŹ
