Aaron Sorkin: The best of the many takes that we would do would be if there was an eight-page continuous teaser with no cuts in it at all that would start out in CJ’s office and wind its way through the whole West Wing; collecting people along the way and handing people off. If it’s eight pages, you don’t want to have any lines on page eight, because you don’t want to be the person who screws it up. We would always hope for Allison to screw it up on page eight.
