I stopped at @fingerlakescoffeeroasters yesterday to grab a coffee at work and couldn't stop staring at this chicken mug. I must have looked at it for like 5 minutes. After looking into zoning laws for owning chickens in our city this morning (raising chickens has been something that we've wanted to do for a couple years now), I got so excited and went back and bought my mug. I walked up and pointed to the chicken and was like I wanna buy her. He laughed and remembered me from yesterday, hahah. She now has to hang out all day with my at work till I can get her home and in a safe place. I don't even know if I wanna use it. Got some seed pods from the amaryllis. I'm gonna attempt to plant them when they are ready. I'm also going to try and re root the bulb. It was a flower that has the bulb in wax. Without doing any research, I decided to experiment and make a bowl out of the bottom of a butternut squash. 9 days in and I'm thinking I left it to meaty. So my daughter has grown up wanting to be a doctor, to surgeon, to brain surgeon. An Olympic long jumper and pole vaulter. However she has officially made up her mind on being a snake handler when she grows up. Got this book and rubber snake for her for Christmas and shes so psyched. She takes her "snake" with her all over the house. Goes into the kitchen, snakes gotta go too. Going potty, snake has to too! I did a lot of research trying to find a good book that would be informational and easy for a kid, it's her new favorite. Already has different pages bookmarked.
