Until I can solve my times and stuff (I’m even looking for a job, so...)

He hadn’t noticed his cousin’s presence, seeing as he was far too busy studying a jewelry display from the outside of a jewelry store. Nothing he found ever seemed just right, but he wouldn’t give up his search for the perfect ring for Vorona.

Natsuki was doing his last delivery of the day, wanting to get to his home and study, he needed to get ready for the next exam. He stared at a bartender outfit and blond hair, really close to something unusual, and unexpected. A jewelry store. With a slow pace, the raven managed to get by the side of Shizuo, analyzing him. So that was he wanted, a ring?. Maybe for his girlfriend.

“Oh dear… Why did this have to happen…?” He murmured, looking at his wet sleeves.

Natsuki groaned. Another problem with another annoying human. He couldn’t expect nothing but complains or insults, and he didn’t have the best humor or mood at the moment. But the man, drenched inside the fountain, just looked pitifully at his now wet kimono. “....I--...”

“… Do I know you?” – Surely they’ve crossed paths once before, right? How else would this guy know his name? Not that it explains the whole birthday thing –… “Probably not.“

     Aoba appears thoughtful for a moment – his eyes trained on Natsuki’s busied hand. He would say something about his mother teaching him not to take things from strangers, but. … He’s curious, to say the least; the boy flashes Natsuki a smile instead – and folds his hands neatly behind his back as if to say ‘I’m waiting’.

“Do you usually hang around outside Raira after school hours?  ~♪”

“I know you but you don’t know me, I have heard about you... and I heard that your birthday was today, so I purchased something for you to enjoy. Hope you like them.”  The raven pulled out a little box of 10 blue ballpoint pens, handing it to Aoba, smiling wider than before. He saw all that happened that day, just casually, because he made a delivery on the zone. It was very entertaining to watch, Natsuki had to admit it.

“You are a kind person, Heiwajima-san.” Kurashi smiled at the other, smile only widening when Hikari leaned into to raven’s touch, purring as the boy petted her. She soon licked his finger gently and jumped back on Toudaimoto’s shoulder as he moved, walking out of the bookstore, both of them leaving behind the bowing and apologising for the inconveniences staff. The raven chuckled at the other’s question and shook his head.

“Well… I did smuggle Hikari into the bookstore, but she is a very well-behaved cat and would never cause any problems.” he hummed. “However the cafe we are going to allows - sometimes - to enter with one’s pets. Although this fact is not widely known, and so Hikari is usually the only such guest here.” the raven gestured at the small cafe just across the street and opened the door for Natsuki once they arrived there.

Natsuki blushed slightly, trying to keep his embarrassment out of the way, but it was really impossible. He smiled as Hikari licked his fingers, and laughed when she climbed her owner all back again. “Then I would’t be worried about her, she’s precious. I really want to have a cat, but I can’t own one.. And.. I’m not a kind person, not at all... don’t say that.”
