The crux of the story of RE5 is the same, but;

- once the possibility of Wesker’s involvement and him doing something big becomes real, Barry, Rebecca, Leon and Claire, all get involved.

- Terrasave is helping the civilians and Claire and Leon are catching up while beating ass and keeping the Terrasave camp and the civilians, safe.

- Rebecca is working on studying uroboros to device a vaccine to be prepared for the worst case scenario, and Barry is out in the field, observing B.O.W. Behaviour, collecting samples, tracking down the progenitor lab, and otherwise assisting her.
