You know how people always say “I was built for something bigger than this, for something more than this.”?
I actually think I’m the opposite. I don’t think I was meant for something bigger. I was meant for something less. Not in a bad way. Just not in a grind my life away type of way.
I think I was made for lazy mornings and cozy cups of tea with good books. For taking life in slowly and stopping to smell the flowers and seeing magic in the mundane. For appreciating a good meal and taking the time to make it. For embracing the every day.
I don’t think I was made for grinding for the future, for hustling to save money, for the next big promotion or the next big job. That life doesn’t excite me. I don’t want fast paced. I want meaningful. I want to appreciate every day. I want intentional gratitude and happiness.
