"I wished for the same desire when my children were taken from me. Eventually I came to grips with that I had to move on from what could of been and focus on the present and future instead. You should feel blessed you have the opportunity to finally be with your daughter despite what happened." Rhea offered her niece, knowing exactly what she was feeling and even with the desire to have another child of her own. "You shouldn’t possess any doubt, Metis. The fact that you were disposed of by your husband should be the least of your worries when it comes to being with someone else and possibly being a mother again. You have a lot to offer."

The Titaness smiled. "You know perhaps you are the wiser one." She chuckled softly. "You always were the one to give me such good advice." 

"Still, I can’t help but imagine that the Fates had something more than baking in mind when they put you back among us… not that I’m complaining, you understand." she added, punctuating the end of the sentence with a sardonic grin and a mouthful of cookie.

"And yet," she shrugged "you were once judged of sufficient sagacity to deserve that title. I don’t think that’s something they can take away, do you?"

Hera smiled “I more then appreciate it. I can’t wait to see her, I’m so excited but I’m nervous too.” She bit her lip. “Is that normal?” 

Rhea offered her niece another smile for the titaness knew the exact emotions she felt when she was in the similar position many centuries ago. “It’s completely normal, Metis. I was the same way with my children when I was reunited with them but you will be relieved after meeting your daughter. Since we are the immortal, we have all the time we need to make up for what has been lost.”

Metis smiled a little. "That's good..." She sighed. "I just...wish I had a chance to be with her as a baby, you know watch her grow up. I wish I had another little one...but who wants a woman who was killed by her husband." 

Metis smiled. “Thank you, Aunt Rhea, I really needed to hear that.” She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. “..I just, I’m worried, its nice though to be worried I suppose. Since for the longest time I wasn’t here, it feels so good to be alive.”  She beamed. 

"I am glad you take comfort from my words, Metis." Rhea replied, smiling brightly at her niece. "I understand you have that feeling but don’t let it overwhelm you. Once you meet your daughter, you will feel as if you should have never worried about those possibilities. Athena will love and accept you for you are her mother.” The titaness proclaimed, strong in her conviction. ”Seeing you alive and well before me is remarkable to say the least although you do have a great deal to catch up on.”

Hera smiled "I more then appreciate it. I can't wait to see her, I'm so excited but I'm nervous too." She bit her lip. "Is that normal?" 

"She won’t hate you. It wasn’t your choice to leave her motherless. Zeus had separated the two of you in order to secure himself as the King and the only King. She could never hate you for Zeus’s actions.”

Metis smiled. "Thank you, Aunt Rhea, I really needed to hear that." She tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. "..I just, I'm worried, its nice though to be worried I suppose. Since for the longest time I wasn't here, it feels so good to be alive."  She beamed.

"You must visit my home sometime, Metis. It is right on the beach and utterly beautiful." The titaness recommended with a warm smile. "War and peace comes and goes upon the Mount. I am amazed after all this time, it is still in one piece. Zeus and Hera do have their spats but they still love each other." Rhea confirmed emotionless as the subject of Zeus moving on and taking another for his wife and queen after her had to be a sensitive one for her niece. "Athena is one of the strongest goddesses I have encountered. She is wise, powerful, and has your beauty undoubtedly. You will know once you finally meet her…soon.”

"...I'm afraid to see my daughter, I'm afraid that she will not accept me," Metis frowned. "I think that she will hate me...for not being their for her." 

Athena turned around and looked at the woman standing behind her. Her heart dropped. Even though she’s never officially met her mother, she always had dreams of this day. “Mother?” She stuttered out almost wanting to run into her arms, but she didn’t move. She was afraid that if she moved closer, her mother would disappear. Was she dreaming? I

Metis walked closer to her, she brushed a strand of hair from Athena’s face. “Yes, Athena, I’m here…I’m really here,” There were tears in the Titaness eyes. 

Hearing the voice Oceanus turned slowly, it sounded like… but that couldn’t be his nephew had stolen her life. Looking at her he shook his head, was he seeing things or was his beloved little girl standing in front of him. “M… Metis is that… is that really you?”

Metis smiled and waved a little. "..I know I know surprise!" She beamed a bit. "the Fates deamed it necessary that I return." She rushed to him and wrapped her arms around her father. "God  have I missed you...and mother.'
