After, slipping a message carved on a slate into the seemingly innocuous pond in Yali's backyard, she receives a message back via a similar medium. It slides out of the water, the edge of the sleek stone surfacing like a breaching creature. The uneven brim juts out, rippling out from the yawning, watery chasm, through the tangle of thorny, white water lilies. A moment seems to hang in the air before Roxanne realizes it's prompting her to pluck it out of the muddy sediment at the bottom of the enchanted pond. The message simply read:
MEET ME AT PRIOLO GARGALLO.
It has been several months since the incident, since she has seen Yali. The last time, the air was fraught with tension ( understandably so, given an intruder under the guise of an agent of the Preternatural Syndicate dared to break into the Gorgon's home and was incapacitated with a venomous malady ) and grief over the loss of any form of familiarity and safety. Part of her wondered if such luxuries can be regained so easily. Hopefully, a modicum of it was found in Sicily, a place Roxanne knew Yali was incredibly fond of.
Within the next few days, she treks down various roads and streets in search of the Gorgon, being mindful of whatever trail she may be leaving behind. She comes in under the guise of a meandering tourists, wandering pathways with no definitive destination other than to take in the vista. She wanders close to alleyways, weaves in and out only to see if she has indeed been followed. Should she duck in a sidestreet, she'd be certain she can shake off or disorient any of her pursuers.
Yali's instructions were simple on the surface, she needs to be within the municipality of Priolo Gargallo. However, knowing Yali, Roxanne has to rely on pure instinct if she is going to successfully find her great and many-times-over aunt. Euryale is subtle, a soft ripple in the pond. A quiet susurration of reed stalks in water, the looming malevolence of a serpent gliding below. Discerning this aura in the noise of a city is like finding a needle in the haystack, and that is what makes the Gorgon so dangerous.
There is hardly anything to go by until the godling finds herself drawn towards the mouth of a narrow alley, and it doesn't take long for her to recognize a familiar silhouette in the shadows. Tossing furtive glances over her shoulders, she hurries in and follows Yali deeper into the alley away from prying eyes.

Saima is more graceful these days, but they’ve definitely had to deal with clumsy periods when they were younger and trying to fit into a mold that ultimately did not serve them well (but were in for a very long time relatively speaking). They have good posture, it’s not very strict but they do try to present themselves in a way that they’d like to be seen. They move with a certain ease, a sense of being there one moment and gone the next, embracing the transitional nature of their existence in a lot of ways.

The explosion rocked the town, shaking dust from the stone buildings. At the current (commandeered) residence of one Nazi soldier, the front door blew off it’s hinges. Smoke poured out, and with it Harley Quinn stumbled into the street. “Shit!” The high-pitched squeak rang through the air as she tripped into a somersault that left her sprawled out on top of the very door she’d just accidentally removed. “Ohhh, that did not go as planned...”
A surprised soldier who’d been staring at the entire thing raised his gun hesitantly as Harley pushed to her feet. He said, “Halt,” and she supposed some words didn’t have language barriers. But his hesitation cost him as Harley threw her body into his with a well-placed foot and a single bound. He was young, maybe newer, easy to divest of his weapon. And he slumped to the ground after Harley smashed the butt of the gun into his forehead.
Only by the time she looked up, she was surrounded by at least a dozen other soldiers with their own guns. Harley was talented, but not that talented. She dropped the weapon she’d just stolen and raised her hands. “Could I get a do-over?” A few of them looked around at each other before three men stepped forward to grab her up off their comrade. She tried to bite one, and he slapped her across the face. She whipped back around and spat at him. “Asshole. Ya won’t be able to keep me here.” But she was a girl who’d just blown up an officer’s living room and was speaking English, all dead giveaways that she was probably important. As they marched her off to a makeshift cell in a basement, she caught the eye of the only relatively normal-looking woman who seemed brave enough to be anywhere near this scene. “I would super appreciate it if you could find someone to help me out. Sorry about the...noise...”

I haven’t decided Cass’ role yet, partly because I don’t know how within continuity I want it to be with the TV series vs just playing around with the characters in the same world, having a completely unrelated adventure.
