i have been drafting some plotlines for this fanfiction i want to write and i have hit some questions about the logistics of game. i know, i know, i shouldn't think too much about it, i should just have fun. but i wanted to see the general opinion about some of these things. i think it could be fun to explore them in the story.
we have established that volt is bald when the power is out. and when the room is dark, but there is power, his hair glows. do you think there is a way he can manually shut that off? like a bald switch? i imagine it would be like sleeping next to a lightbulb.
eddie controls the electricity in the whole house (with volt's help of course). many of the characters (ex. mac, connie, freddy) rely on electricity to live. so, meaning, if the power goes out do they just, cease to exist? like if you unplug dishy, he's just a corpse of a dishwasher. so is eddie struggling with the pressure of literally keeping people alive?
if there was an external power who turned off the electricity, does that override his control? i imagine it would, because the breaker box wouldn't do anything.
they are also connected to the eletricity in the house. so when you are working on the electricity with eddie, aren't you like, messing around with his veins, in a way?
for the sake of writing good fanfiction, i am going to say that the vests can come off. but, how does that work? i am going to assume that they have to connect the vest somehow to themselves, which then gives them the ability to control the power. so, if they go vestless, they can't.
can they get wet? i feel like it would be extremely limiting if they could not. after all, eddie IS a bartender, or is at the least capable of making drinks. but one of them spilt water on an open outlet on their clothes, what would happen? i imagine that they would be fine, but if the reader touched them they would get shocked/electrocuted.
