“I’m not good with school work. Don’t know how much help I can be,” he replied with a sigh as he raised an eyebrow a little as he thought for a little before he continued to talk, “Could say I’m rather behind on schoolwork” he admitted to the girl standing in front of him.

“Oh no, that is good.” She gave him a sheepish smile. “Um, you don’t have to help me. Maybe can help you with your’s? I wouldn’t want you to help me and fall more behind.”

“sure you do… i’m on to you.” lovelyn joked around with a smile. the only good thing about moving to lima was meeting winter, love would be totally lost without her. “you should. a beautiful face like yours deserves to be asked out by everyone.”

Winter blushed softly at that. “Oh gosh, I don’t know all about that. Most people at school find me strange and the guys who do ask me out are usually just trying to gain points because they assume I”m a virgin because I’m quiet.”

“yeah, i mean, most colors go with red hair, except for green. while green looks nice, it makes me look like i’m a christmas tree.” she laughed.

“That is very true.” She giggled. “Hey, there is noting wrong with Christmas. You’ll be a favorite around that time.” She teased.

“You look cute, but I think you are a bit to pale for the color black. I think you need to rock blue, like a royal blue.”

“Royal blue?” She questioned before nodding. “I will try it out. Maybe you and I can go shopping or something? You seem to know what you are talking about.”

“What’s the project?” he asked a little curious as he smiled at her, “Well I can’t disappoint a pretty lady now can I,” he said as he nodded while listening to the girl speak.  “You don’t need to buy me lunch I’m good thanks,” he said with a huff.

Winter blushed softly at him before giving him a smile. “So, I have to build a miniature volcano and the island around it. I have a lot of the small work done but building the actual town is where I am at.” She nodded. “Okay, sorry. I was just offering to be nice.”

“You definitely aren’t wrong. It’s quite a look.”

“I’m not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing.”

“What is it you need help with?” he asked with a curious smile as he walked over to the girl and sighed a little. “You seem wrong normally I’m not nice, but I’m in a good mood so I’ll help but I need a favor,” he replied with a devious grin plastered on his face as he turned to face the girl. 

“It’s a project for class, it’s one of my last ones and I need help finishing it up and then moving it to my dad’s car. They would help, but they are busy and I know my sister is busy as well.” She smiled. “Oh, well I appreciate you helping me. I can offer to buy you lunch.”

“Hey, can you help me with this?” Winter asked, looking over at the other. “I need helping to move this and finishing it and well, I don’t really have any friends I can call and you seem nice.”

“i’m sorry i have to tell you this winny. but black is not your color.”

“Yeah, I know. It’s too dark for my skin-tone but you have to admit the outfit is cute. I think you should try this dress. Black always goes so well with your red hair!”

“that and because who wouldn’t want to have a famous best friend?” she laughed softly. “i think it’s impossible for you not to look cute.” she stated. “well if you every want to try the edgy black look i have some great black boots that would look great with that dress that you can borrow.”

“Not at all. I love you.” SHe smiled at her before giggling softly. “No way?! Maybe I should wear them to school tomorrow? Maybe I can be adorable and someone will find me cute and ask me on a date.”

“i mean, everyone should fear your iq, you could become an evil genius or something someday, take over the world.” she laughed. “and i wouldn’t want to mess with either of your dads.” she smiled. “though i don’t know if a black dress will make you look edgier, you still look adorable.”

Winter couldn’t help but smile at her best friend, giggling softly. “This is why you are my favorite.” She teased. Although the adorable comment did make her blush. “At least I’m still cute, I guess.” She chuckled. “I think I’ll stick to my normal wardrobe. Wearing black seems like a personal sacrifice I am not quite ready for.”

“i mean it’s a pretty dress for a funeral.” love joked to her friend.

“Luckily for me, no one’s dying just yet.” She chuckled. “I was trying to seem edgier because right now the scariest thing about me is my IQ and my dads. It’s extremely high and one of them was in the army or something..”
