one of the most upsetting parts about the heartstopper film is that Michael didn’t pick Tori up and spin her at the ice rink like in the comic after that ace coming out scene, a small opportunity for redemption missed

i know i should be crying over the nick and charlie scenes (and i did) but damn that scene of tori explaining her relationship with michael hit me like a truck. i think i like the book coming out scene more than the movie one, but her explaining what seems to be her QPR with michael was so beautiful and i have never seen anything like that in a tv show or a movie. i had to pause the movie cause i was just crying. i felt so seen. alice oseman, let's start working on that loveless script now yeah? pwetty please 👉👈
