“Red” - Park Jimin
[genre: angst]
Red. Red was all you could see. Nothing more and nothing less. The world around you didn’t stop moving but you? You were frozen, unable to move even one inch of your body. You held up your hands, only seeing bits of it through layers of tears. Little sprinkles of red were covering them. Almost like art. Nothing. You felt nothing. You looked down. He was there. His clothes were still the same, like the ones he wore, when he picked you up for your date. It was your anniversary and he made a reservation at your favorite restaurant. But you met him. A mere stranger, looking for money. But you were too scared to even react. Instead, he shielded you, protecting you from this world like always. You always felt safe with him. He was your world, your reason to live. He saved you a million times. But today was the last time, he did that. The man dressed completely black threatened you, he was getting more and more aggressive. And that was the end. He stabbed him. Not you, even though you were his target. Red. A puddle of red color painting the concrete. With him in the middle of it. His eyes searching for yours, smiling your favorite smile. “I love you.” His eyes closing. His breath vanishing. Nothing more and nothing less. It echoed through your head. It didn’t stop. After a while, you dropped to your knees. One hand searching for his cheek. Nothing. No warmth. No smile, which automatically appeared, when you touched him. Nothing. You whispered one last word before darkness embraced you.
“Jimin.”
