Why do I feel like every cabin has a really big purpose in camp, e.g. hephestus for the swords, athena for strategy, apollo for archery except from the big 3? Like, Leo's always off making something, Will's always in the infirmary, and Annabeth's always practising, but Nico and Percy just kinda walk around without any purpose.
I feel like a part of it has to do with the fact that there wasn’t a child of the big three for so long. Like, 70-ish years with no children in those cabins leads to their roles at camp to be given to others. And ofc, let’s remember that Hades didn’t always have a cabin too, so I imagine it’s gonna be a while before a new rhythm is formed there as well.
Kinda insane to think that there were 4 empty cabins (1,2,3,8) AND the Big House but they still put all the unclaimed kids in cabin 11
And that two Olympians with no half-blood children had honorary cabins while so many minor gods didn't
At least the Hunters used Cabin 8. Isn’t Hera the goddess of family? Couldn’t the unclaimed/minor demigods have stayed there??
