I can’t stop thinking about how amazing Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom look on the Switch 2. Honestly, it feels like I’m rediscovering Hyrule all over again. 🌌

First off, the visual upgrade is insane. I knew the graphics would be better, but I didn’t expect this level of detail: the water reflects the sky with a clarity I never dreamed of before, the leaves on the trees sway in the wind so realistically that sometimes I just stand still to admire the scenery. And the lighting… wow. Sunsets and thunderstorms now look like scenes straight out of a movie.

What surprised me the most was how fast everything loads. Before, I had time to check my phone while waiting for a shrine to open, but now I barely blink and I’m already inside. Combat feels way smoother too, without those frame drops that used to throw me off on the original Switch.

Another thing I loved is how the skies and underground areas look in Tears of the Kingdom. The HDR makes the colors so much more vibrant, and the dark zones feel truly mysterious. It made me want to explore everything again like it was my first time.

That said, I had to jump through hoops to transfer my saves because cloud saving isn’t compatible with these versions yet. Hopefully, they fix that soon because it would be the cherry on top.
