No Moral Compass
You are cold, analytical, and you strive to be as objective as a person of flesh and blood can be. Either don't understand the concepts of good and evil, or you understand it perfectly and think it's a load of bull. Some may call you selfish, some may call you unfeeling, but you're just doing what you believe will yield the best results, plain and simple. Why bother with petty ideals of right or wrong when you can do what will actively help those you give a fuck about? Your goals may be selfish or noble or anything in between, but you will not let anyone make you feel like garbage for going after them. You couldn't care less about what people brand you as. You just care about getting shit done by any means necessary.
Pretty accurate for Oswyn. He'll do whatever it takes to accomplish his goals, and he doesn't care who it will hurt. He will lie, twist, corrupt and brainwash his fellow shinjin if it means he will benefit... a true manipulator.

Pumkin grinned as she spotted someone, slowly sneaking up as her tail twitched. The saiyaness was in a rather mischievous mood today- most likely due to boredom from lack of time patrol missions... and her instructor was busy, so no messing with him for a while-
Time to be a menace to society!
Creeping closer, the former pirate's Cheshire grin grew even more, noticing the fellow was a core person, just like her teacher- this should be more than fun- if he was just like Zamzy!
".... HEYA, PAL! WASSAP?!" She crowed as loud as she could, eyes glittering as she spoke. Good lord, if the other hit her or yelled at her, no one would blame him.
After her cry, she ran in front of the other, doing a 'charming' little pose... as if she hadn't yelled a second ago.
"Never got ta talk with ya- Who are ya?" The saiyaness spoke quickly, grinning wildly.
The loud voice behind him causes Bragi to yelp, and in a panic, he does indeed start swinging. Fortunately (not because she'd be severely hurt or anything, on account of his twiggy arms, but because he'd feel really terrible about hitting a girl), he misses when she moves in front of him.
Whipping back around only to see her right there startles him once again, and he stumbles backwards a few steps until he loses his footing and lands on his rear. He thinks little of it as he continues to frantically back away, until he gets a better look at the girl and finally realizes from her cheeky pose that she means no harm.
It was clearly a joke, and it would be hard to blame her for laughing at how utterly ridiculous he must have looked flailing about like that. He certainly feels ridiculous right now. However, he's not laughing. In fact, he's quite upset.
"You--! Y-You can't just do that to people, you know! What in the world do you want?!"
"Eh? Aw, Calm down! I won't hurtcha! I was just curious cause I rarely see ya fruitfolk around- Besides Chronoa and Teach, of course." Pumkin gave a toothy grin again, before walking over and offering a hand to him.
"Sorry though- couldn't resist surprisin' ya!" Bragi's words seemed to pass over her head, and a casual laugh escaped her. "Name's Pumkin, by the way! What's yers?"
Pumkin had a feeling if her teacher was here, he'd slap her over the head for being so rude with her introduction... Well, thankfully he isn't! Someone should really teach her manners...

Every word of condescension only served to fuel his anger, driving the urge to attempt to shut the kai's mouth in what would be a cathartic (if not misplaced) retribution on the hybrid's end. He knew this was a horrible idea to attempt to converse the an alternate version of the kai that once terrorized his home and stolen more from him than he could ever hope to regain. His temper could be too wild and the pain from his tragedies had yet healed for him to take things slow and adjust properly to the presence of Zamasu.
But he had to if he wanted to push forward. He couldn't afford to dodge the man as if he were a plague, this was not the kai that hurt him so. This wasn't Goku Black. He wasn't either of those monstrosities. Still, it was difficult to differentiate when such similar views would be expounded as if they were the truth.
"...I'm not here to fight you."
He utters the statement once, only so loud that the kai can barely hear it.
And then, the shine that covered his body would dissipate, and his hair once again follows the law of gravity as he says those words again, this time much more clearly than the last.
"I'm not here to fight you, Zamasu."
Despite his intentions changing, his expression did not, still looking at the kai with scorn and distain he was sure Zamasu had for all mortals and gods that he deemed flawed.
"I came to talk, something that I'm sure surprises you, as despite all your so-called wisdom, you're as ignorant as the very beings you view below you."
His ears lowered and he glared back icily. "Surprising. I expected you to attack me while my guard is down. " Zamasu hissed out, eyes narrowing. "What are you here to talk about? If it's insults, Save them. I'm not in the mood to be insulted more. I already deal with that from the Supreme Kais..."
It's been like that ever sense he had been brought back- most of the other kai glowered at him, the only one so far being kind was Chronoa- although Zamasu really didn't trust her yet. He assumed it was due to his plan being found out... little did he know it was much, MUCH more severe than that.
"I'm still questioning why Chronoa is even bothering to try redemption with me... Most of the others decided that I deserve to die. "
It still made the shinjin wonder- why? Was it because of his talent? It certainly doesn't seem like it's for his ideals... And wouldn't Beerus have protested, being the one that erased him?!

Zamasu: I was told it's a mortal beverage, and that its a delicacy... it tastes awful, though...
Pumkin: *tastes the 'drink'* .... THAT'S HAND SOAP.

"... I... I appreciate that... Not many share that sentiment though..." Zamasu chuckled bitterly. "I don't blame them though... what I did was beyond despicable. I... " He rubbed his arm subconsciously now, ears lowering.
" ... Understanding them... Mortals... I couldn't. I couldn't understand them at all.. the ones I've seen before everything were all violent... cruel and merciless... it jaded my view- not that that's an excuse for my actions... it's not. If anything, I was wrong for my actions." It's far too late to apologize now, however.
"Er... anyways- I apologize for the topic getting a bit... dark. It's nice to meet you, Bragi- I wish you success in your endeavor to understand mortals. " A change of subject would be best- to not make the mood any more gloomy.
What an odd feeling it is, to watch someone you once idolized for ideals you no longer hold show such raw, sincere remorse for holding those same ideals. It's like looking into a darker mirror of his own regrets, and it's incredibly uncomfortable. However, it's not scorn he feels, but something more akin to pity, even if that isn't fully the best word to describe it. Understanding, perhaps?
"You know, um... I've actually gotten fairly good at it, I think. Understanding mortals. I've even made some friends! They're very dear to me. So, um, please don't give up, okay? I think even you might be able to find some friends, too."
It's an incredibly naive sentiment, but if he's learned to believe in anything, it's the human capacity for love. However, the mood is clearly dour and awkward and he doesn't want to make it even more so.
"A-Anyway, I won't bother you anymore on the subject... But I'm glad I finally got to formally meet you! I know it might sound odd, and I understand if you don't want to, but I would love it if we could discuss some other things sometime as well! Perhaps over tea! ...Or some other beverage! The mortals here have some very good beverages, actually--"
The offer made Zamasu smile slightly, appreciating the kindness offered. "I'd... I'd like that a lot, actually. I wouldn't mind discussing things with you. Talking with you... it's helped a lot for me. " The hope placed in him helped Zamasu put a bit into perspective. Giving up... that isn't an option.
If he wanted to make up for his actions, he shouldn't just roll over and accept being erased. And.. having another person to talk with helps place things even more in perspective. Friends... he had noticed that most incarnations of himself in the timelines... didn't have any friends...
"I'm usually around Conton's Outskirts- If you ever wish to talk. Near the mountain. " It was a far stretch, but... Zamasu did hope they would speak again.

Bragi... and he admired *him*? ' ' What... work did you admire, if you don't mind me asking? ' ' Zamasu couldn't help sounding almost... uncertain at the words, hoping it wasn't the foolish plan he made before being erased....
He wasn't sure how he felt about being admired... "It's nice to meet you, Bragi. And yes, as a chance at redemption, the Supreme Kai of Time is having me work alongside the Time Patrol... Although, I'm not sure how long that will last. They're holding a second trial for me, and deciding If they want to even bother attempting such. "
That caused him to shudder. The idea that he was one trial away from possibly just being erased like before... it's terrifying. But very much earned... he knew he deserved it.
Well, it seemed there was no getting around it, not if he was going to be asked so directly.
"Umm... A-All of it?" He's never cringed so hard in his entire life at having to admit this, and never in a million years did he think he'd be admitting it now to Zamasu of all people. "N-Not so much the, um, mortal thing anymore, though, but..." He hesitates for a moment.
"...I was actually sent here for a very similar reason as you. To um, learn to better understand mortals. Though we're clearly doing very different work, and I don't have any sort of trial hanging over my head..." He can't imagine the idea of his very existence being at risk over getting his act together. His own punishment, by comparison, was far more akin to being grounded than an actual sentencing. Then again, he's never actually killed anyone...
"...This might be a little presumptuous of me to say, since we've only just formally met, but if you really are trying to redeem yourself, I really hope you don't get erased."
