I think I did a good job since i dont really know what i'm doing lol.

I think this panel perfectly encapsulates the tragedy of Zamasu's character in the DB universe. He's a serious character in a story that doesn't take itself seriously. The story was never going to respect him and his ideals. Toriyama literally said: "At his core Zamasu is good like Shin, though I guess you could say he was so fastidious that it backfired."

Personally, I don't think the narrative did a good job of showing that "fastidiousness" that Toriyama mentioned. In fact, I think he had pretty reasonable views & concerns up until he started entertaining the idea of multiversal genocide. But the narrative calls those concerns "too serious". His want of universal order (which again, is the expectation) is brushed off repeatedly. How did anyone expect the outcome to be any different?

Could go into pretentious stuff like “visual storytelling” or “framing” but I would be sorta larping because imma be so honest with y’all twin I think I have a very base like understanding of that, but I can understand through comparison when something does it better! Just can’t quite put it into words, didn’t go to school for that ya see 🫪

i want to make a comic series or something .... like i know i was making dogpack forever ago buuuttttt buuuutttttttt i really wanna do a series of judas and cary centric comics exploring abusive relationships and trauma n whatever whatever , especially given what cary means to me and what he represents and the kind of coping mechanism he is/was when i started writing about me and him ... also i figured out how to stylize gotens hair so hes all i draw now unfortunately aside from other things
