man i feel like all thats out there about motherhood is negative but i'm about a year into this and i just wanna say i'm having a great time.. i think going into pregnancy metabolically robust and with a good fitness baseline are very important. and obviously choosing the best father you can. being a boundaried person. but yea this is lovely. i enjoy my time nurturing and playing with my son and he's very chill so thankfully i don't struggle to take care of myself with exercise and eating well. i experienced 1 month of a bit more pronounced hair loss and since then it has been growing rapidly despite trimming like weekly (high protein diet ! 100gs min and for me i shoot for 120-140). I took it easy in the immediate post partum and now i'm back to pre preg strength levels plus some. i've kept things very simplistic, he has never had a bottle, i don't own a pump, have never used them, and we've had an easy time.. he's 26 lbs ! it makes me feel like oxytocin love drunk all the time. I also feel very grateful for our birth experience and find it to be constant source of confidence and pride. he's learning to walk, i'm working on our greenhouse and garden projects, we take leisurely spring strolls. every outing i used to dread is fun cause i get to dress up a little baby buddy to go with me. its a very idyllic time in my life 🌱✨🫧🌞
