I literally mentioned it in my previous post and I’ll do it again because the implications- : Henry can steal Hans’ shield from Zizka at Nebakov while Hans is talking with him, and when he gives it back to him at Trosky, Hans immediately says that Henry should keep it. Like, Hans is away from his forever home, has barely escaped death multiple times, his whole retenue died and he’s in the castle of one of the most powerful men in Bohemia who’s also a cunning and menacing member of the League of Lords - his house’s enemies - whose chamberlain almost had him HUNG the day prior. And when Henry comes back with him with a piece of Hans’ home with his colors, a piece of safety - a SHIELD - Hans replies :

Because home isn’t the Rattay colors anymore. Home is the man who’s wearing them. And also, it matters less to Hans to have this piece of Rattay and more that everyone knows that Henry belongs to him. Insane man.

And even if Henry refuses :
