EDIT: It's been brought to my attention that the reference image is probably AI generated. Whoops. At least it got turned into human-made art? The hansry kingdom continues to be an inspiration, so when this image was posted i junped on it as an excuse to try out some specialized brushes for rendering nylon fabric.

Happy to get this one out of WIP jail.

The goal here, aside from using that adorable reference image, was to figure out some kind of colouring workflow. Also, how to draw armor? And horses??

I still have a lot to learn as this took muuuuuch longer than I would have liked and I'm not totally happy with the result. But it's done! And I'm happy for that.

I still really like the WIP sketch. You might see that the key elements that I wanted to keep were 1) neck kiss and 2) Hans looking smug as hell
