Captains log, Day 5: last night (after the 3 consecutive days of vomiting) Mommy dragged my stubborn ass to the local veterinary emergency room (Pet's Unlimited). After being poked, prodded, and virtually sodomized by 2 of the doctors fingers, my X-rays came back showing severe constipation. Worse yet, severe constipation due to ingestion of a dirt/gravel like substance. That's right folks, I've been secretly eating dirt. After some anti-nausea meds, subcutaneous fluids, and an especially lovely enema...I was on my way home (in this humiliating diaper-esque outfit). I've been prescribed boring/bland food for the next 3 days and close monitoring. Thank you everyone for your well wishes!

I made that present my b*tch...

For those of you who don't follow my every move, I celebrated my 5th birthday yesterday. The festivities were glorious (Mommy spared no expense). My day was filled with canine-friendly chocolate cake & tons of new toys. My fellow Best In Show lovers will be delighted to know that I FINALLY got my very own busy bee ("That is a bear in a bee costume! She's freaking out!")

Right before he practically 'spiked me like a football'. Haters gonna hate.

I was an impromptu guest at auntie Summer's beautiful bridal shower on Saturday. Mommy was unable to leave me at auntie Nina's for the day as there was an excitable 4 year old who tossed me around like a rag doll. (Attention all 4 year olds: tiny dogs are NOT cats and do NOT always land on their feet...please refrain from launching us.) Luckily, I made it out unscathed and we proceeded to the shower celebrations. Thank goodness auntie Evey brought an extra derby hat or I don't know WHAT I would have worn. I even got to be the "bride" for that ridiculous toilet paper game. All in all, the weekend was a success and all the compliments I received made up for any child-induced trauma.

Bath time = least favorite time. Since when does spilling soy sauce in your hair constitute the need for yet ANOTHER bathing?!? Poppycock, I tell you.
