Netflix and the Duffers are trying so hard to remove Byler from canon that it's making me sick. Not only did they literally erase Will from the Rink-O-Mania scene in the end credits, they're also retconning the Snow Ball and recreating Sorcerer with El & Mike to justify their whole "Mileven was always going to be endgame" narrative.
We know that's not true. And if they insist it is, they need to acknowledge and apologize for the blatant queerbaiting (and resulting homophobic behavior from the GA) right now, because they are the ones directly responsible for it.
Creating a whole new cash grab of a show to write over their own characters/storylines is seriously not the way. I'm so mad. I hope Tales from '85 is a massive flop and the Duffers never get any work again.
