Continuing with the updates, we're here to bring you our guidebook!

The guidebook contains our rules, server guide, application form, and more. Everything is a work in progress, but as we would like to get feedback from the community and develop with your thoughts in mind, we've decided to go ahead and publish it. Although it isn't mentioned in this document yet, as per the current results of the ongoing poll, we will most likely be using Tupper to operate.

As mentioned above, this IS incomplete as we search for the proper things to add and adjust. You can send any feedback to our inbox, but anything rude instead of constructive will be deleted. Thank you for your continued interest!

Concerning opening reserves, we would be open to doing so soon, but this depends on if people are willing to wait a long time before they can fulfill their reserve.

yep, i absolutely understand that it isn't for everyone! the convenience of tupper usually topples the benefits of that option, but i wanted the option out there to consider because most of the animated media mfrps i've been in have used that over tupper and i know there is a community that prefers that.

I want to know what would work better for the group functionally! Although Tupper is the most popular and convenient, both have pros and cons to consider. I'll list the pros of both before

Unique Discord accounts: Private DMs Finding old messages easily Role colors & pronoun/age roles Personal Discord privacy (AKA not having to join on your main Discord) Traditional / familiar in terms of primarily animated media MFRPs Proxy bots / Tupper: Accessibility Organization Can use more than one character at a time

so, WoT is in the subsection of discord mfrps that is primarily animated media. i'm familiar with both styles—the rl fc & essentially appless groups vs primarily animated & full app form groups—and it leans toward the latter. i'm sorry if this disappoints anyone!

that being said, characters from media with real life actors can use those real life face claims, although there isn't really a "face claim" system. lucy from fallout could use ella purnell icons, but that's just because ella purnell plays her, not because someone is claiming the face. i hope that makes sense!

initially my goal was to open by the end of january, but given that we're coming up on the holiday season and that's incredibly unpredictable (i just found out i'm going on vacation early feb), i'd say the actual pitch would be closer to the end of february. i know that sounds far away, but ideally, i want to prewrite events and all the extra bits so that, despite this being a slice of life and writer-driven group, there's always fun prompts to enjoy. additionally, i'm waiting to garner more attention so that i can run polls on how people would prefer the group mechanics to work, and i'll need that information to really flesh out the guidebook.

regarding reservations, i'll probably open those as soon as the guidebook is done, as that's one of the most important reads for joining a new group. i'm hoping to have that out late nov to mid dec.

as mentioned in the previous ask, i am a one person team for the time being. my motivation levels go up and down, so any deadline i give isn't set in stone, but trust that i am eager to get this out!!!
