VELVET NIGHTS is a 21+ multifandom anime/manga roleplay group that takes place in the fictional city of Centurion. On the surface it looks like a typical major city with endless opportunities, but underneath the tall buildings and neon lights, the city is abundant with mystique and corruption tightly wrapped in a blanket of conspiracy.
It should be a surprise to no one that the city is deeply corrupt and rotten to the core. Government officials are often being bought and paid for by a mysterious group of wealthy elites known as, The Elite Front. The mayor is a puppet for this group and is often manipulated into pushing their agenda. The police force is compromised of officers who work for both The Elite Front and a powerful criminal group known as The Centurion Syndicate, often turning a blind eye to their crimes through diversion tactics and coverups.
Do you uphold the system for a seat at a table? Do you build your own table to avoid conflict? Do you say "screw each and everyone of these tables" and burn it all down to the ground? There are so many secrets to uncover in this wretched city so do what you will with that information.
