Sonnenschein, or Sunshine (1972) by German photographer Christian von Alvensleben … this fun shot got significant attention in Europe at the time, including a Norwegian Air Force squadron adopting her as its mascot, as well as some American attention with a favorable piece in the then weekly news powerhouse Newsweek magazine … she was quite the thing!
