Tbh I don't understand anyone who denies their favorite character's flaws and acts like they've never done anything wrong when that is like consistently the most interesting part of any character ever

you guys are acting like trinity told everyone in the ed that langdon stole drugs. no, what she SAID was essentially "until your apology is as public as the way you hurt me, until you apologize to everyone you hurt, which is everyone in this ed, i don't personally believe you are sorry" which like. yeah, is her prerogative. she didn't tell anyone!! langdon is a big boy and he can decide whether he is willing to publicly admit what he did or not

What santos said in the langdon fight scene isn't just about her anger towards langdon, it's about her anger towards herself. She isn't just upset at him for what he did, she's mad at herself for not reporting abuse she faced again. In her mind, she's let another man with power over her get off completely scot free for what he did, and worse everyone around her is telling her to just accept that he's changed when they don't even know the extent of what happened like she does. This has got to be so re-traumatizing for her ugh im sick.

when you spent all morning trying to talk to your coworker (who has the same job title as you) about how to make sure that your workplace has a smooth transition from his control to yours, but he kept blowing you off and didn't want to hear about any of the idea that you had and wanted to run by him, and every time you tried to have a serious conversation with you he would say he was just trying to get through the day so he could leave on his three month sabbatical, and now, after ignoring every single attempt you made to make sure that you could run your workplace smoothly without him, he's telling you he doesn't think that the workplace will survive without him (he just berrated one of his female employees for being stressed) even though you just saved a child with a procedure he had never even heard of, much less knew how to perform

robby can lash out in self-hatred and be a misogynist at the same time. robby can be written to be purposefully hypocritical and incidentally misogynistic at the same time. robby can be suffering from ptsd and be a misogynist at the same time. βactually the point is heβs lashing out because he sees himself in samira and hates itβ correct. It's kinda crazy how people have rewritten the Santos-Langdon story in season 1.
The show very deliberately laid out their plot. Santos fails to consult Langdon on two cases but was reprimanded and immediately fixed her behavior. Langdon shows zero anger or annoyance towards her. Until, Santos questions why she can't open a vial, to which Langdon instantly becomes hostile towards her.
He starts kicking her off of cases she's consulting him on, he's insulting her for answering questions, ignores her during teaching cases, and when he has his screaming fit he was just told that Santos listened to Mohan (her senior) on a case. Robby explicitly says Langdon is harassing Santos, and this is when Langdon starts trying to discredit Santos and present her as a danger who needs to be fired.
The writers went to great length to demonstrate that Langdon's anger and treatment towards Santos was *only* about her discovering his theft. Nothing else.
Also, Santos didn't investigate Langdon because "she wanted to get him in trouble". When she starts asking Dana about the tampered vial, she didn't have any tension with Langdon and had actually started apologizing to her seniors, and she first assumed it was defective medication. Then, she was so reluctant to report him that Robby had to directly ask her three times what was going on. And even then, she explicitly said she regreted turning Langdon in, thought she made a mistake, and felt guilty.
Some of y'all have just straight up invented a non-existent version of both Santos *and* Langdon.
I like Langdon *because* he did some real bad shit and is now trying to be better in his own messy and imperfect way. Stop stealing the most interesting thing from him!
