documentation on the strange japanese spongebob bootleg ad [creepypasta]
This is a documentation on the strange japanese spongebob bootleg ad, now there isn't really much on this ad since it is relatively niche ad but I'm making this post not only to let more people know about it, I genuinely believe something paranormal is going on and you soon know why I think that.
Many people say different thing about the ad is somewhere between 4:10-4:59 in length although it is skippabl after 5 seconds.
The first post about the ad was in 1st of september 2008 however it could've been around for longer since some people said they saw the ad in August of 2006 which is as long as ads have existed.
No one can agree on what the ad was about, some say it was a ad for a kitchen spong, some say it was a ad for a series and some say it was just a blank white screen with the mascot. and that is what all of these ad shared a mascot that looked like spongebob except he had light orange skin ,no hole, had blue and white clothes, has a black dot and no shoes. now most people would skip this ad right away but there was something that would happened, after the short time of the ad being up and having the skip button if you didn't skip. The add would start fading to black and the to a dark blue and then the blue mascot will appear with a abstract background behind him, we do actually have a screenshot of this.
this isn't the best screenshot quality wise it's not great and I'll admit a little goofy.
The text above reads "you're still here... how interesting" what's weird is that despite having japanese subtitles the ad will speak in the language that the person watching will.
Now the ad same to go through "phases" that each last a minute so I will tell you each minute individually.
The rest of minute 1: not really much to say about it, this bootleg mascot will basically talk about how the world is a miserable place , how it's a bad to live in it and how people aren't trying to make it better.
minute 1 - minute 2: now this is were most people skip the ad and for a good reason since. The mascot starts talking directly about you saying your name , talking about your life and how badly you have it. This is exactly why I think something paranormal is going on. I know no shit but the thought of it just doesn't sit well with me.
minute 2 - minute 3: now thankful we don't really have alot on this minute however there are some brave and/or stupid people that decided to check what happened through this minute. And apparently the mascot start twisting and turning into a completely monster like being, now we don't have a screenshot of that, but we do have descriptions and a now deleted tumblr user has drawn what they saw which was luckily archived.
while this isn't the best drawing i have see it does match the description of a large spong with skinny limbs , with the nose popped like a balloon and a mouth across his whole body.
The mascot starts talking about "his world" a world were everyone is treated the same (yeah sure body) , a world that he has funny in , a world of there making. This thing also seems to be mad whenever you hover on the skip button.
minute 3 - the rest of the ad: nothing is know about it .Everyone that has went this far was never heard from again. there are rumors that the skip button disapears as soon as you get into that point but we aren't sure.
There is however , a surprisingly not as much talked about news story that seems to be connected to this.
there was a mother that went her sons room only to see a pile of blood on the chair and desk and a open with a add playing with 2 eyes in the darkness looking at the chair and then looking at her before the eyes disappearing into the darkness and the ad ending.
The reason I think this is connected is that the woman was interviewed and she said that there was a little music before she entered her sons room, when she was asked to hum it, it sounded like the end of spongebob squarepants intro when spongebob was using his nose as a instrument that I don't remember the name of.
and to conclude thing I'm here to say DO NOT try to look for this ad and if you get it SKIP IT as soon as you get the chance I know that this thing may said that It's going to put you in to his world but i wouldn't trust it.
