By the way this girl was acting, she clearly knew more then she was letting on. Whether or not Larxene was interested enough to pry was a crossroad she had yet to reach at this point. As Lumina talked, she took the opportunity to watch the people around them go about their routine. Some did indeed look forlorn, lost. Others simply were putting on a brave face. And yet another group continued as if nothing was different. "A bystander… Now why don’t I believe that?" Really more of a mutter then an outright statement, but true in all respects. Maybe she just hadn’t asked the right questions yet, or Lumina was simply withholding further information. Something Larxene did. With that a light smile graced her lips despite the cloud of depression consuming some of the people. "Well when you’re on the street there isn’t much hope now is there?"

"I guess because by this point .. what happens when you do die?" Lumina shrugged, unsure. "No one's born anymore, so what happens to those that are gone? What do they do? Plus .. maybe they're just scared to die. Of course, that's not true for everybody."

Over the years the pinkette had seen many people just end it because they were tired of living after so long. Countless people had taken their lives, and some even had their lives taken from them.

"It's always interesting to see how people choose to live out their final days." Lumina commented, turning her head to peer at a group of children clustered together in the street--of course they really weren't children anymore. Not after so many centuries.

"Do they get desperate? Do they take more risks? Everyone's different, but unfortunately they're not as entertaining as the savior."
