Life quotes

I created a dua that I say multiple times each day. I try to say it the best I can in Arabic. Please pray with me. If you don’t know how to read Arabic, I have the translation in Franco Arabic so that you can decipher how to pronounce Arabic words. If you have no experience in Arabic, I have also translated it into English if you’d like to pray in English.

ARABIC

اللهم احفظ أهلنا في سوريا. اللهم قوي إيمانهم حتى لا يظنوا انك غير راض عنهم. اللهم احطهم بحبك و رحمتك، خاصة الأطفال منهم. اللهم لا تجعل العالم ينسى سوريا، و اجمعنا كلنا على الأخاء و المودة. اللهم ازرع الحب في قلوبنا ليوم ان نغادر هذة الدنيا. يارب اكتب لنا حياة نقية و اهدنا لطريق الجنة و اكتب النهاية لهذة الحرب. آمين.

FRANCO ARABIC

Allahoma ehfaz ahlana fe Syria. Allahoma kawi eimanahom hatta la yazono annaka ghair rad anhom. Allahoma ahethom behobeka wa rahmataka, khasatan alatfal menhom. Allahoma la tagal alalam yansa Syria, wa agmaana kolana ala alakhaa wa almawada. Allahoma ezraa alhob fe kolobena leyoum an noghader hazi aldonia. Yarab ektob lana hayat nakeya wa ahdena letarik algannah wa aktob alnehaya le hazi alharb. Ameen. 

 ENGLISH

“It is a wonder that in the Ummah there is no one waging jihaad except the Khawaarij,

No one seeking to establish the Shari'ah except the Khawaarij,

No one scares its enemies except the Khawaarij,

‘The true people on the pure Tawhīd today are really Strangers among Strangers among Strangers.’

‘In a time like today, if your speech is true and your Tawhīd is pure, you are going to have enemies from those who claim to be Muslims before the non Muslims.’

'This Ummah needs to revive it’s upbringing and thinking- revive their thinking in accordance with Tawhīd. The entire way of thinking needs to change- that gutterish way of thinking needs to be refurbished by the Tawhīd way of thinking.’

'Tawhīd is the maker of men, is the maker of legends.’

Normally I don’t comment on jokes like that, but this one right here is just so disgusting and so dangerous that it is an absolute must to speak out against it!

What in the world happened to us Muslims? Since when is accusing someone of zina something funny? Are you aware of the dangers that this brings along with it? Do you even know the Hadd for this crime?

Allah says in surah Nour that whomsoever accuses a believing woman of adultery without having brought four witnesses must be punished with 80 lashes and on top of that, the testimony of that person is never to be accepted again!!

And all this, for a few likes and a moment of laughs? I’m absolutely disgusted and embarrassed, that these are the kind of jokes the worshippers of Allah is laughing at.

Fear Allah, in what you say and do. Imagine having angered Allah so much, and dying like that! Why risk your akhirah for such filthy jokes.

If we knew, what he knew, we would surely laugh less and cry more - Wasn’t that the words of our Habib, Sallalahu aaleyhi waa salamaa taaslima?

عن أبي ذر الغفاري رضي الله عنه، عن الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: “ألا أخبرُك بأحبِّ الكلامِ إلى اللهِ ؟ قلتُ : يا رسولَ اللهِ ! أخبرني بأحبِّ الكلامِ إلى اللهِ . فقال : إن أحبَّ الكلامِ إلى اللهِ ، سبحانَ اللهِ وبحمدِه“ صحيح مسلم حديث ٢٧٣١

Abu Dharr reported that Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) said: “Should I not inform you about the words liked most by Allah? I said: Allah’s Mes- senger, do inform me about the words liked most by Allah. He said: Verily, the words liked most by Allah are: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said to me, “Shall I tell you the expression that is most loved by Allah?” It is ‘Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdih’ (hallowed be Allah and praise is due to Him).“ Sahih Muslim 2731 b In-book reference : Book 48, Hadith 118 USC-MSA web (English) reference : Book 35, Hadith 6587

عن سعد بن أبي وقاص رضي الله عنه قال: كان النبيُّ صلَّى اللهُ عليه وسلَّم يُعَلِّمُنا هؤُلاءِ الكَلِماتِ، كما تُعَلَّمُ الكِتابَةُ : “ اللَّهُمَّ إني أعوذُ بكَ مِنَ البُخلِ، وأعوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الجُبنِ، وأعوذُ بِكَ مِن أنْ نُرَدَّ إلى أرْذَلِ العُمُرِ، وأعوذُ بِكَ مِن فِتنَةِ الدُّنْيا، وعَذابِ القَبرِ ” . صحيح البخاري حديث ٦٣٩٠

Narrated Sa`d bin Abi Waqqas: The Prophet (ﷺ) used to teach us these words as he used to teach us the Book (Qur'an): “O Allah! seek refuge with You from miserliness, and seek refuge with You from cowardice, and seek refuge with You from being brought back to (senile) geriatric old age, and seek refuge with You from the affliction of the world and from the punishment in the Hereafter." Sahih al-Bukhari 6390 In-book reference : Book 80, Hadith 85 USC-MSA web (English) reference : Vol. 8, Book 75, Hadith 399
