I was about 15 when I first saw you, it didn't hit me until a little while later just how much I needed you in my life and just how much of an impact you were making for me.

At first it was just a pure infatuation because, you're fucking gorgeous clearly.. but it turned into so much more than that. The late nights where I couldn't sleep, it was you that I'd turn to, the self hatred I felt, just about my self in general but also how scared I felt about being anything more than what I thought was 'normal'.. but you normalised that, at a time where everything was so scary and unsettling, I saw you handle life like a boss, in how you played your character but also just in the real world.

I know what role you had in how she came across to the viewers. I know how much you stood behind what you had to put out there, And I know just from what I've seen of you just how true and down to earth you are.

You are a straight telling no bullshit girl and I admire that so much. You shine confidence in everything you do, you get what you want but not in a diva kind of way, more in just an assertive strong woman way, and man you're so fucking good at everything you do, the acting, the dancing, the music, the charisma.

And to top it all off, you looked like you fucking aced motherhood too, something that is very close to my heart, and I love watching you love your boy from behind a screen.

I know I don't know you personally but I feel like I could, I feel like I could trust you with my life and you wouldn't let me down, that's just the vibe you give off.

I would give anything to see you in person and thank you for how you helped me grow up. Being a teenager is hard enough as it is but you were always my safe place.. I spent a lot of time in my teens and early adulthood not wanting to be here anymore, and you were always where I'd go when I didn't feel like I could put, how I felt, into words.

I didn't need anything more from you, but just to see your face and hear your voice helped me get through those dark nights. I'm not very confident or self loving nor have I ever been but you give me motivation to be.

I want to thankyou from the bottom of my heart and I wish I had a chance to tell you all of this, even if you never were to read it, as hell, I know you've probably been told stories like this all the time, but I truly hope you realise how much you've changed people's lives, I hope you know how appreciated you are and how so so many of us adore you.

You honestly have done so much, more than words can even say really.

You're not perfect, as no one is, but you were absolutey perfect to us in every moment we needed you to be.

I love you so much Naya, I'll always love you and you'll forever be in my heart as one of the biggest influences of my life.
