-          It had been 3 months since you had gained Jason’s trust. 5 since he kidnapped you.

-          At first you had hated him and asked him over and over to take you back, but every time he would just smile sadly and say “ I wish if I could doll, but I don’t have a choice….there has only ever been you . “ This only made you cry harder. You could see that it broke his heart.

 -          The worst part , is that Jason wanted you to be a happy prisoner. He bought everything he knew you would like; your favorite foods, clothes, crafts, etc. He knew everything about you.  And it bothered you to no end to know just how closely he had been watching you all those months before you even met him.

-          You would only stare at him in disgust, simply saying “ If you are not going to give me my freedom, then don’t bother pretending you are a good guy because you are not. Just let me die, Jason. “ The mere suggestion of letting you die angered him to no end. “ Don’t say that. You are here because this is were you will be safe for sure, Y/N. Don’t you get it?” You did not reply, resuming to ignore him instead.

-          Jason punched the wall, startling you . Before you could say anything, he was out the door , muttering something about some Red Hood business.

-          You felt bad. Not only for you , but for him too. He was such a troubled man that he actually thought a partner could make up for all of his heartache and problems. But you were just a crutch that sooner or later he would break if you did not comply.

-          You had to do something about it.

-          You were asleep when you heard Jason’s heavy footsteps coming in from his mission.

 -          You sat up when you heard him groan in pain and gasped when you saw him. He was covered in blood and some of his limbs had bruises on them . He looked terrible.  

 -          “ Jason, what happened? Don’t move! Let me go get bandages and alcohol. “ you helped him sit on the sofa and rushed to get the first aid kit on the restroom.

 -          You totally missed the look of surprised that passed through Jason’s face. And suspicion. What were you planning?  Was this another ploy to escape? Jason studied you carefully as you kneeled and started tending to his wounds. You looked so worried as you silently cleaned his ugly skin and started patching him up. His eyes softened. No, he had come home in worse shape than this, and you had not bothered to greet him before, only to tell him how glad you were he was hurt. You could not possibly do this to hurt him

 -          Jason felt an overwhelming rush of emotions, all at the same time. He felt he needed to explain everything…. And apologize.

 -          “ I’m sorry I have made you so miserable these past months…. but I can’t help wanting to be with you . I love you and I need to keep you safe. Don’t you see that others will hurt you? Everything I have done, that I still do , is for you , Y/N. Can’t you just love me like I love you ?” Jason pleaded as you finished bandaging his arm. You had to have this talk with him now; if you did not you feared for your sanity. 

 -          You sighed. “Jason, you are my home now. I do not condone your actions, they were horrible. But!” you exclaimed hurriedly, when you began to see his familiar self-loathing expression spread across his chiseled face, “ but I understand why you did it. You were alone and disappointed by so many people in your life…I was too. You don’t know how to cope. And I can’t fix you , nor do I want to . You have to do this yourself. And you will never let me go , not really. So I’ll stick by your side and try my best to support you,” before you continued you risked looking up to find him staring at you with so much love and hope, waiting for you to continue. You finished patching his arm , and moved to his lip, dabbing him carefully with the cotton ball in order to not hurt him. He searched your face, “ but if this is going to work, I have some conditions. “

 -          Jason nodded carefully, seeming to sense a trap of some sort. You fought a smile, “ I cannot love you like you want me to, so give me time. Also, I’ll wear whatever tracker  you want me to so you will know if I am safe or not. But I do like you. You are very handsome, charismatic , and driven. I think you haven’t heard that a lot throughout your life and you need to. “ You caressed his face gently, observing how Jason closed eyes and leaned into your touch , basking in your affection.  “ Thank you ,” he whispered . You then took him gently by his chin so you could look into his eyes.  

-          “ Do you promise, Jay? “ you asked, softly. He then stood up an stroked your face, eyes full of love and renewed trust. “ I promise doll, anything to keep you by my side.” He then pecked you on your cheek, earning a giggle from you. You stood on your tippy toes and pecked his lips,  feeling him tense a little and slowly wrap his arms around you , enveloping in his warmth. God, he was a fucking tank.  Jason then deepened the kiss, making your hear beat faster at the softness of his lips. 

-          When you finally pulled away , you were so out of breath and blushing that Jason laughed and said, “ So, this is taking it slow… I like it.” You swatted his arm playfully, earning a chuckle from him. “Don’t push your luck, lover. Hey, I like the sound of that. You call me doll right? It’s only fair I give you a nickname. How about ‘ love?’ We are lovers, right?”

It’s currently 2 in the morning and you just can’t seem to fall asleep. Walking into the living room you sit in front of the large window and look at the tall buildings. Chicago at night is your favorite because it reminds you of NYC which you miss dearly. A few minutes passes by and you hear someone walk into the room. Kirby walks out yawning and rubbing his eyes.

“Hey baby what’s wrong are you ok?” he says while going to kiss your head.

“I’m ok I just can’t sleep” you frown and look out the window.

He pulls you into his chest and rubs your back. Moments like these make your heart flutter. There aren’t a lot of them because of his hockey schedule, you going to school and having a part time job. So obviously you cherish them when it happens.

Kirby gets up and starts lighting some candles and puts on your guy’s favorite song. He starts walking towards you with a huge smile on his face.

“May I have this dance my lady” he says extending his hand.

You throw your head back laughing “why of course you can”

Pulling you he stops in the middle of the room and starts spinning you around and trying to get you to dance. Somehow you guys are dancing around the kitchen and singing your hearts out. Kirby can’t seem to stop admiring the way you look. he’s falling so hard for you and it makes him happy that he chose to be with you.

Your arms tightened around Jason’s waist as the world whipped by you in a blur. He promised he wouldn’t go too fast on his bike. This was your first time on the back of a motorcycle after all. He felt your vice like grip and moved one of his hands over yours squeezing lightly before putting it back on the handle bars.

The city became a dot in the distance and you were surrounded by lush green forest trees. You could no longer hear the shouts and screams of the city. It had been replaced by the rustling of leaves and songs of birds. After another 20 minutes, Jason pulled over into a gravel parking area, closed off with an old wooden fence. He helped you off the bike, leaving both your helmets on the seat before giving you a lopsided smirk, “See, the ride wasn’t that bad was it? I think you enjoyed it more than thought you would”.

Your cheeks flushed pink, noticing the hidden meaning.

“I’m only teasing sweetheart”, he still hadn’t let go of your hand and began to tug you towards the rickety gate, “Thought we could have a little hike in the forest together”.

Your face lit up with a bright smile, squeezing his hand, “Sounds perfect”.

“Are you sure we’re not lost?”, you looked up to the treetops, the sun rays peeking through the gaps in the foliage. It gave the forest an almost mystical feel.

“Promise you sweetheart, I’ve been here loads of times. I know exactly where we are”, Jason gave you a cheeky smile but you didn’t quite believe him. You’d seen that heart shaped rock three times now.

“I hope so, I don’t fancy being eaten by cannibals in the woods”.

He snorted, “Ah but they live in the desert sweetheart, so you’re safe here”.

“You clearly haven’t seen the movie Wrong Turn then”, you heard him chuckle.

“Well”, he stopped suddenly causing you to bump into his broad chest, “I’ll just have to protect you then won’t I?”. Jason’s voice had dropped low, his eyes sparkled with mischief.

The heat spread through your face with how close he was. You could smell his rich cologne as he drew you even closer to him, hand on your lower back, his face dipping down to yours.

“Well you’re the big beefy one out of the two of us so, you’re going to be the one they eat first. I’ll make a run whilst they’re occupied with you”.

He stopped leaning into your face and you felt your stomach sink. You’d ruined it. Why did you have to say that?! You were about to turn away until he burst into hearty laughter. It was infectious, causing you to giggle along with him.

When you’d both settled, Jason nudged his nose along yours, lips brushing the corner of your mouth, “You’re adorable, you know that?”.

Let’s just say he had one of his best games ever and when he got home he knew you would be waiting for him to tell you what to do, what he did expect was to see you sitting on the couch, fully clothed watching some rerun of a stupid show. And when you stood up to greet him, he saw a devious little smirk on your face and he knew it was about to be an interesting night. By the time yoy both made it back to the bedroom and he was over top of yoy and figured the weirdness was done, you knew it was just about to begin. You grabbed the chain that way swaying over you, before tanking him down so his lips could meet yours and with the shock factor yoy were able to get enough time to flip the two of you over so you were on top. But as soon as you had settled and were getting ready to start teasing him like he teases you, you feel a sharp sting on your ass. You met his eyes and saw the heat and intensity in his eyes but also a slight bit of disproval. Then he flipped yoy back over again, saying something about how you should know better than to try something like that, before getting up and getting three soft silk ties, one for your wrists and one for each ankle to tie you to the bed so it would be easier to tease you without many problems. And when he grabbed the vibrator out of the bedside table drawer, you knew you were in for it tonight. Then he started the torture, the teasing around everywhere but right where you needed it most, all the whole he was explaining how you know who is in charge and what the rules are and what happens if you break them. Let’s just say you couldn’t walk the next day
