oh im going to start nina-posting. Nina my fucked up little 7 year old. she is psychologically fascinating fo me. how do you perceive yourself after having been given someone else's identity? is the 'you' that exists now even worth losing the person you gave up? especially when melina was already loved dearly by her friends and family.

Nina wants to be herself, wants to be with her family, but she is forever haunted by Melina - the one she was intended to be become; the one who pushed Nina's personality down in order to possess her.

Melina wanted to live so badly. The version of her in Nina wanted to even more so. Melina may have been perceived kindly in the eyes of others, but to the little girl whose life she stole she's nothing but a monster. An intruder.
