when the one relationship you were rooting for ends so now love has no meaning

In the show, spikes behaviour towards Buffy is seen as irrational and wrong, all the small things he does, when he's just a man in love. They expect someone without a soul to treat people perfectly, when he's already many times better than any other demon around. And her behaviour certainly doesn't help. By the end of S5, he is respectful, but she comes to him for everything, invites him to everything. At the start of S6, the only time that Buffy, someone he holds so dear, interacts with him, it's for her own personal gain rather than to see him- and it's understandable that he lashes out throughout the entire series, if he sees all of Buffy's actions as a reflection of those that are prevalent at the start of s6.

the worst thing about being chronically ill isn't the pain. Yeah, it's frustrating, it's a bitch, but I think there's something much worse. Today, I was at a fancy event, regular stuff for end of year, and I was having a bad spike in symptoms. I have come to terms a long time ago with the fact I can never do all I want, I can always be left out of the fun, but I know my friends haven't. They're stubborn, and I'm not trying to make it bad for them supporting me, but watching their eyes on the liveliness, awkwardly sitting by my side while insisting it was fine hurt me the most. They shouldn't have to deal with this, just because I got a bad lottery pull in health.
