My OTHER favorite running bit in btvs season 2 is the monster of the week episodes post-Angel-twist where there’s always a b-plot of Angel going, “I’m gonna go mess with Buffy and be evil hehehe” and then there’s one scene of him interacting with the monster-of-the-week plot and going, “Ew. What the fuck? I hate this.” and then running away.
“Fuck. Why is there a werewolf.” “Ew. This guy’s a fish monster. What the hell.” “Oh god oh fuck I’ve been possessed by a ghost. I hate this.”
