earlier this year 2 boys got expelled from my school for going on a teachers email and sending another teacher an email that says “you’re a disgusting little man” and i laugh about it all the time because imagine opening an email from your coworker and thinking it’s important and then it says that

the problem with fantasyposting on here is the amount of people who try to "um actually" you on the basis that your post doesn't comply with the rules/mechanics/worldbuilding of dungeons and dragons

i think its sad that people think talking about music using the vernacular of Genre immediately makes the discussion "pretentious" or something. its words and labels that r made to help with naming styles and methods of music. obviously solely focusing on it is silly, but thats the case for anything like that. its not the case when people start talking about film, styles of horror or whatever, so why are music genres seen as pretentious and inaccessible? you are allowed to just say what you feel. someone using vocab you dont personally know is not them inherently looking down on you. you also dont have to use them at all, whether you do or not is not a statement on your music listener status. idk. coming from my experiences as someone who loves music trying to talk about it with people
