He’s brushing his teeth over the bathroom sink, eyeing his tired face, watching his toothbrush go in and out of his mouth and getting flickering reminders of late last night.

“Go back to sleep,” he murmurs.

Dennis nods, doesn’t even crack an eye open, but he does lift his chin and gently pout his lips in silent request. Robby kisses him once, twice, before Dennis lets his head fall back onto the pillow with a sleepy sigh.

It’s going to be hard to focus at work. He knows it.
